This October and November, the U Gallery brings together the vibrant and expressive work of Carrie Kingsbury, Linda Benton McCloskey, and Ceanna Davis

Though each artist approaches their work from a distinctly personal perspective, all three share a love of color, texture, movement, and the expressive possibilities of paint.

Carrie Kingsbury’s joyful mixed-media animal portraits combine bold pattern, vibrant color, and playful storytelling.

Linda Benton McCloskey explores abstraction through richly textured surfaces, intuitive mark-making, and an adventurous use of color.

Ceanna Davis’s equestrian-inspired oil paintings bring movement, atmosphere, and emotion to the canvas through rich color and expressive brushwork.

Together, their work creates a dynamic exhibition that invites viewers to experience painting as both visual expression and an emotional, transformative process.
