Christiane will be painting her trademark still life florals, known for their bold color and expressive energy. She’ll be working in two different mediums—watercolor and water-based oil—and sharing her techniques, tips, and artistic insights throughout the demo.

Water-based oil paint may be a new medium for many artists. It offers several advantages, especially for those who are sensitive to the fumes and solvents typically associated with traditional oil paints. However, like any medium, it comes with its own learning curve. Christiane will talk about both the benefits and the unique challenges she’s encountered while working with it.
